IC Ireland and IC Spain had been due to defend the men's and women's titles respectively at the International Club's traditional senior team event, held in Barcelona, Spain. The decision was take during a virtual meeting of the Committee, attended by the Potter Cup President Marco Gilardelli, Benson Greatrex, Dan Waldman, Jose Rafael de Gispert and Berta Tintoré.
